“Our match is in the understanding of our mismatch.” It is well-known to us that we will never be same, no matter how long we stay together. I do not know all of him. But the little I know is enough to give him all of my understanding, tolerance, patience and love. Every day is a new day to love him afresh because he unveils a new him; this makes our relationship a journey of discovery.

Who is my perfect match?

Rib of my rib. We ought to bear the same DNA. But that isn’t the case. Maybe because he has been raised from a different background, thus acquiring different elements of him. That notwithstanding, he has to fit these:

My complement: Human beings are social animals. It is natural for us to spend all of our days looking for our better halves. Surprisingly, this half doesn’t resemble us. My perfect match has to complete me. Together we form a whole working force of a vessel that we shall use to climb mountains, cross oceans, walk valleys and travel the journey of social relation.
Shares my dreams: I have nothing to lose by keeping him by my side. I do not have to spare time to attend to him because he is in the middle of my business. I won’t lose my self, not to mention my dreams, goals and purpose for him. This doesn’t mean that he is an expert in what I pursue. But he is an expert in boosting my morale, stabilizing my emotions, strengthening my faith in God and reminding me that with him, I can be that what I want to be. That is my most perfect match.
Beautiful to my eyes: He fits the most perfect definition of good-looking to me. He activates my smiles whenever I get to see him. He shall be the reason I’ll want to come home early and wake up late. I am proud of being called by his name. His speech is sweet melody to me. He is rich in productive thoughts, responsibility and intellectual ability. He is my perfect match.
